Owner / Head Coach

Born & bred Zimbabwe boy, who flew the nest in 1997 to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional rugby player. This decision was made after my dad, uncle and career guidance counselor told me you cant make a living playing rugby! I spent 6 years in Australia, 3 in the brumbies academy until Eddie Jones called me in to tell me I would never make it as a professional rugby player! (I’m not bitter though!)

A year after Eddie’s advice I toured Australia with Scotland and managed my first cap the following august internationals vs. Australia. It wasn’t the dream start as I got the shepherds hook at half time, for playing rubbish!

It was a 4 tough years before I managed to get my 2nd cap and this was against the all blacks in 2008! One of my dreams was to face the Haka and it was incredible! My 2nd cap the greatest memory of my rugby career. Unfortunately it all came to an end in 2010 after I had ruptured my left triceps in a game playing for Northampton vs. Bath.

I returned to Zimbabwe with my young family as we wanted our kids to have the upbringing I was fortunate enough to have. I started CrossFit in 2011 and have loved every minute of it ever since.  I did my level 1 CrossFit certificate in 2013 at Reebok Stockport, Manchester in the UK.

I opened Full Speed CrossFit in March 2014 and am now on the most amazing journey!

Hoping one day to compete in the CrossFit masters so have 3 years to prepare. I absolutely love CrossFit and the way it has changed so many lives for the better! The ethos of CrossFit and the communities it has brought together is amazing!

Owner / Coach

Born and raised in Zimbabwe having an awesome life living on a farm about an hour outside the capital city, Harare.
Attended top boarding schools in the area right from a tender age of 6 years old all the way through to the end of high school. My dream the whole time was to make it as an international cricket player of which I did for Zimbabwe until injury prevented further progress.

Due to that injury I lapsed in sport for many many years and recently found CrossFit which again has bought a whole new meaning to life for me and hopefully now as part owner of FullSpeedCrossFit, I have a chance to change others lives and teach them the new wave of a better lifestyle.
